Covid-19 Response & Updates
For the first time in its more than 100 years of camping ministry, The Salvation Army has decided to cancel its 2020 summer residential camping program due to COVID-19. Any Salvation Army camps with trailers parks and/or cabin rentals across Canada will also be closed until the local health authority gives official approval to open.
“The Salvation Army’s number one priority is the safety and security of our campers, staff, leaders and holiday guests, and it’s in this spirit that the decision was made,” says Lt-Colonel John Murray, secretary for communications. “We respect and support the tireless work and decisions of our government leaders and public health authorities. The Salvation Army’s decision is in keeping with Canadian government requirements and public health rules and guidelines.”
The Salvation Army understands that camp is an important part of summer for Salvationists, campers, staff, leaders and guests. Indeed, many look forward all year to the summer camping season. However, as we are living and working in social isolation and with the requirement to “stay home,” this is the right and appropriate decision for these times.
We invite you to pray for our divisional youth leaders, camp staff and campers during these days. While we are living in uncertain times, we take comfort and assurance that God is in control. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Methods of Payment
Pine Lake Camp accepts Visa, MasterCard, cheques, money orders and cash. Please note that if you are paying by cheque/money order or cash you registration will not be complete until payment has been received by our office.
Cheques/money orders should be made payable to The Salvation Army Pine Lake Camp. Please include your child’s name and Camp session in the “memo” section on each cheque/money order. Cheques/money orders can be mailed to:

Confirmation of Registration
- Confirmation of registration will be made via email.
- Please let us know if you do not receive an email confirmation.
- Full refunds will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of on-line registration.
- Cancellations 7 days or more prior to camp will be granted a 50% refund.
- No refund will be made for cancellations less than 7 days prior to camp, dismissals due to disciplinary action or for late arrivals or early departures.
